We welcome you to San Benito County
Behavioral Health Services, Substance Abuse Services
Division.
Our goals are to:
- Help you get substance abuse care.
- Work with you to arrange for quality
services beneficial to you.
- Be sensitive to your needs and
respect your privacy.
- Provide treatment methods to overcome
substance abuse problems.
As a client, you also have specific
responsibilities to:
- Keep your appointments as scheduled,
or call if you cannot make your appointment.
- Work on treatment goals with your
substance abuse counselor.
- Work with staff to choose the best
staff member for you.
Services:
The following
services are available in English and Spanish for Youth,
Adults, and Older Adults. Other language resources are
available as needed and will be provided at no charge.
Substance Abuse Services
- Education, prevention, evaluation,
and outpatient intervention programs to help with the
treatment and management of alcohol and/or substance
abuse problems and to assist you with recovery.
Perinatal, Prop. 36, and adolescent treatment services
are also available. In some cases Substance Abuse
Residential Treatment may be appropriate and we may
assist you with referral and placement.
- For youth we also offer assistance
through our support of Friday Night Life and Club Live
School based substance abuse prevention programs.
New youth are always welcome to become involved with
these school based organizations and we can assist you
with referral and linkage to these organizations.
- We also support Driving Under the
Influence and Substance Abuse Prevention programs
through our contract affiliation with Lifestyles
Management. The program offered through this
organization can assist you to fulfill certain court
ordered substance abuse education and prevention
courses. We can assist you with referral and
linkacge to this organization or you may contact them
